Mother’s Day Tri Fold cards
This technique has been raging through the ScorPal Pals yahoo group the past couple weeks and I finally got to try my hand at it this weekend. I made one card for my MIL for Mother’s Day and one I’ll use for another occasion at some point.
The card design looks complicated, but is suprisingly easy. My Bazzil CS didn’t holdup well under the folds though. I suspect that was an error on my part. Probably need to scope with the grain or something. I’ll have to explore that.
3 Wishes
3 Wishes--It is really hard to settle on only three! Sure, I have lots of *self* wishes....money, security, health, wishes for the kids, grandkids, parent's..lots of them.
But a friend and I were talking recent;y about how at the core of each person, there is a need to be understood and accepted. I think that sums up what everyone really is searching for in this life.

Handmade blossoms
So I tried my hand at handmade flowers tonight. I think they turned out cute for a first try.
How about a close-up?

What’s for dinner?
It’s already time to choose a new recipe to scrap for a Cricut MB swap. Seems like I just finished this one! No worries though, it is such fun designing these.
Gosh, I can’t remember who’s line that cute utensil and green polka dotted paper is from. Anybody know? I got it at B&B Scrapbooks.
This recipe looks complicated, but really isn’t and is quite yummy.

Clear as Mud
This photo for this page was taken a few weeks ago, on a muddy, rainy weekend. It fit this page perfectly!
I love how this page turned out. It is a pretty straight scraplift from a design I saw in April’s Creating Keepsakes mag.
